Monsters vs Aliens

I give this movie two thumbs up. I found it quite funny, and the SQ/PQ were quite good. The LFE were pretty good too. Glad we are getting to the time of yeat with decent movies being released.

I had planned on blind-buying this one. I figured it would look good if nothing else since it's a CGI movie. Plus I like Seth Rogen.

I don't know that it is worth a blind buy, as it isn't as good as Kung Fu Panda to me (which I blind bought). It has great LFE and is very funny, but probably a rental. To me it is a little better than Bolt, which I liked, but not quite top of the crop.

On my oppinion, it doesn't approach the depth of the best animated films, BUT Monsters Vs. Aliens has enough humor and special effects to entertain moviegoers of all ages.

I watched it last night and found it to be better than what I was expecting. It was entertaining and funny, plus the audio and video was very good, with lots of LFE and surround effects.

The funny bits and the characters were the highlights. The action and story were just so-so, but I enjoyed it.

My daughter watched it at our neighbour's house and "liked it a lot and thought it was really weird".

we watched it a few weeks ago. pretty good, pretty good sound.
before we watched it, we saw the halloween special. all that candy was a bunch of eye candy. the image was awesome.

The LFE was off the charts on this one. Some really heavy "Darla" like hits.
