The Fourth Kind!

Yes folks, I once again got to view a couple of movies. This time, one of them was The Fourth Kind. To be honest, at first I thought this film was going to be rather cheesy if you will. However, at times I found myself really wanting to like it.

This film is supposedly based on a true story. The producers also claim that actual original film footage was used throughout the movie. Hey, I admit some of it was really creepy. The acting was NOT anything special. Likewise, the audio effects were at best minimal.

All in all, I am still undecided about whether I liked it or not. Right now I can say, however, that I did NOT dislike it. That being said, at best I would have to give this movie a C-. I consider that being quite generous. My advice is to rent it on a night when there is basically nothing else to rent!

When I saw the commercial for this movie it made me want to watch Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

LOL.....Doug when you do be sure to compare the two. Inquiring minds want to know. I am still kind of on the fence with respect to my feelings regarding The Fourth Kind. It certainly was different! One thing the film could have included was some eye-candy as that is always a plus in my book.

I saw it too. This was an odd one. I can't say anything without giving everything away so all I will say is if you have any interest in seeing it, do it.

I appreciate you not giving too much away. If you notice in nearly all of my reviews, I try to speak mainly in general terms. My goal is not to give too much away. It is my hope that I have succeeded at this goal. Furthermore, I also agree that the film was odd-there is no doubt about that!
