Actually, they don't.

"In certain countries, such as France and Germany, the law bars the government from extraditing anyone who is a citizen of the state." - http://www.indopedia.org/Extradition.html
I stand corrected. I made the silly mistake of actually believing several media sources - all stating that he couldn't be extradited for this particular offence, not because he was a French citizen. My bad!

I'm sure the 13 year old child consented to being sodomized. He is a famous LIB for Gods sake...I mean c'mon... it's not like it was "RAPE, Rape"....surely there was a level of consent.

Why be so tough on the poor old guy?? Roman is the real victim!!

Chris Rock was on Leno last night and had some fun stuff to say about Polanski. Maybe it's on Youtube.

WTF are you talking about?

Now we not only have people tying this to religious affiliation (or lack thereof) but now political as well?

Are you effing joking?

Did you not see "Regards,

Yes, he was joking. Have you seen any conservatives who came out in his support? I doubt it. Hollywood doesn't like them, if you haven't noticed.

Hmmm ... you sure? I just thought he switched political parties but stayed as crazy as ever. :D

Do I need to apologize now?

Whoopi Gerafalo isn't a spokes person for anybody but Whoopi Gerafalo. I think she may be a mole paid by the conservatives. Regarding Roman, what would our justice system have done to him? Surely nothing as severe as making him live with the French for 30 years.

Just kidding. I love the French too.

Au Revior. :)

Wow slamming liberals for a guy that's a criminal. Hollywood isn't as supportive as people tend to think. Anyone who really looks at this situation can't do anything but suggest he be imprisoned for life.

I haven't paid attention to who does or doesn't support him, but as to Hollywood..

Charleton Heston, Arnold Swartzenegger, pretty much everyone who showed up at a Bush, McCain, or Palin rally (norm for Cheers for example).

But hey, why not just generalize? Much better than reality.

There should be a "Rickster's Law." It would be more appropriate for this forum. :)
Yes, and it should involve Asian women (of age - 21+):D
I mean....if we're gonna make a law; let's do it right.:D
I'm just sayin.

He had admitted guilt, worked out a deal and he would have gone to prison, where he would have been the new soap dish until the inmates who absolutely hate pedophiles were through with him.

But rapists are never imprisoned for life unless they kill the victim and even then, they can usually work out some kind of deal, especially with a "good" lawyer.

The guys on a local radio station think a hellhole of an island should be used to relocate pedophiles and rapists. Once there, they get nothing from anyone else. They get to fend for themselves, for everything.

OK, you found 4 examples. Not exactly mainstream Hollywood, is that?

You forgot Bruce Willis. Hey- maybe that's why he and Demi didn't work out.

Hmmm, a different twist than I was thinking, but I like it!

I was thinking that "Rickster's Law" would be similar to Godwin's Law and would be something like, "As an Audioholics discussion grows longer, the probability of a remark requiring a 'Not that there's anything wrong with that' approaches 1." :)
