When I saw Iron Monkey was out, I gasped in excitement. Then I saw that it's said to be cut terribly, and there is no Chinese track!?!
I've always wanted to see Out of Time, but I guess the mpeg2 encoding leaves a lot to be desired. I guess that's why it sells for $12.
I really enjoy Polanski films, and The Ninth Gate is no exception, but then I see people have laid out some evidence that it's an old transfer, probably of at least 6 years. $10.
I wish Silence of the Lambs, one of my all time fav's, was said to look great.
Same for Shawshank.
Others I'm forgetting, but if any of the above were said to have at least a "very good" transfer, I'd bust out my wallet.
Hm. I guess Braveheart is the only thing I'll buy right now, until perhaps Up/Monsters/Star Trek in November?
