I sure as hell was.
Yeah it was sad what happened to Shaun Alexander. The guy went from beast to least in an instant. LT is on one of my fantasy teams. I'm hoping he runs like crazy.

All the pieces of the puzzles are there, but they’re scattered all over the field, not assembled into a cohesive picture.

Sometimes I hate being right :p

What I learned today watching the Vikings/Browns and Broncos/Bungles game.

1) The Browns defense did as good of a job shutting down Favre in the passing game and yet they still put up 34 points.

2) Brett Favre showed he doesn't need to force the ball down field.

3) The Vikings are one of the top teams in the NFC

4) Adrian Peterson is possibly the best running back ever. Certainly the best running back since the greatest of all time to this point Barry Sanders.

5) Brady Quinn is a bust.

6) The Broncos and Bangels are two of the worst teams in the AFC. Josh McDaniels I wouldn't be too happy right now, you got lucky dude and your offense blows.

7) The Detroit Lions still suck ;)

The guy has been playing in the league for 2 years and 1 game right now... let's hold off on calling him the greatest ever and see if he can stick around for a while. Remember Terrell Davis? He was great for 4 years, and then done.

I love AP, but there's a laundry list of guys who's careers and talent I'd take over him. In 8 years or so, I may feel differently.

AP is the best since Sanders. Sander is behind James Brown on my list.

I'm glad we have a great RB.

Vick may be starting soon. Week 3 look out.

The biggest problem the Vikes have had for YEARS is the offensive line – They can’t block, create holes/lanes nor protect the QB. Too many hits on BF & TJ is pressed into action before he’s ready. They need to give TJ some time with the ball, be it in a game or practice.

Terell Davis was good but is no Adrian Peterson. Look what Clinton Portis did when he was put behind that Denver O-line (who they ended up trading). I never said he WAS the best but POSSIBLY the best. There is nobody comparable that runs outside the tackles as well as Peterson does EVER besides Barry Sanders in his prime (who never had an dominate offensive line throughout his entire career). Peterson is a freak plain in and simple and is a step above any running back in the league which is full of super talented rb's.

The Colts looked pretty good. I think they could have done a little better in the first half (two turn-overs). But it was a clean game at least (few penalties).

The Vikings o-line was horrible today and allowed a ton of pressure on the QB and 4 sacks and yet the offense managed to score over 30 points, Peterson had over 180 rushing and most importantly Farve threw 0 interceptions. I would be extremely happy if I were a Vikings fan.

I'm just saying that back in 1997 and 1998 people were making the same statements about TD that they now are about AP. They kept talking about how he was going to break every rushing record in football. He was also pretty sick, despite the awesome offensive line, and then he lost his legs.

As for the statement about RBs who run outside the tackles- Sanders was awesome, but you may want to watch some film on Dickerson, Payton, and Earl Campbell before you anoint AP . Those guys were absolutely insane in their days.

When they get their act together, then I’ll be happy

My Chiefs looked better than I thought they would. I may have to change my prediction from 2 wins to 3. :p

Did you guys see Larry Fitzgerald just run off the field after they lost. Didn't even bother to shake the other teams hand after a hard fought game. Glad to see the trio of Boldin, Fitzgerald and Warner lose. Great job 49ers! :D

Brees six touchdown passes...wow!
