This could be the end for now.

Seriously, I have no life.
The government can't even shut down the hacking or pirating community. What makes you think they can shut down the whole internet. Especially since it takes me only a few minutes to network with anyone else. Don't underestimate the computer underground.

Paranoid is the right word. He lives near MKE. I went through that town once in my life and it made me Paranoid. I got offered pot while I was there.

If I lived in the same place I'd probably be paranoid too. Plus it's freaking cold up there. Which explains why he's got no issues with Global Warming. :D

If I lived in Wisconsin I'd be increasing my pollution in hopes of giving myself some relief from chattering teeth and frozen blood vessels. :)

The reality is the peasants had it better than we do. They only paid 20% of their earnings. Now we pay like 50% once you add up all the taxes we pay. The sad crap is they come up with creative ways to tax us all the time.

Like jacking up the cost of a driver's license.
You were paranoid only because someone offered it? Were you on the East Side?

If they wanted to shut the internet down, all they would need to do is kill the infrastructure. Once the Telco and cell systems are down, that leaves satellite and that wouldn't be hard to kill, either. That leaves what, tin cans and string?

The accusation of Obama being a socialist and a communist is really laughable, silly propaganda. If he was in Canada, I don't think he is far enough left to get into the Liberal Party(which is a centrist Party). It seems that in the US anyone that doesn't own an assault rifle and wear cowboy boots is a communist:rolleyes:...

The jury is out on how good a president Obama will be. But certainly great amounts of energy and money are being spent by his opponents to make sure that he fails.
The US was originally a Constitutional Republic. From Wiki:

"A constitutional republic is a state where the head of state and other officials are elected as representatives of the people, and must govern according to existing constitutional law that limits the government's power over citizens. In a constitutional republic, executive, legislative, and judicial powers are separated into distinct branches and the will of the majority of the population is tempered by protections for individual rights so that no individual or group has absolute power. The fact that a constitution exists that limits the government's power makes the state constitutional. That the head(s) of state and other officials are chosen by election, rather than inheriting their positions, and that their decisions are subject to judicial review makes a state republican."

Appointing various 'Czars' goes completely against this concept. Setting up a "Citizen's Militia", funded and equipped as well as the standing military can only be for stopping us from "being a problem" to the new government. If not for this, what purpose could it serve? We aren't rioting, we aren't shooting at the police or government and we don't have bands of paramilitary, white supremist or other racial/ethnic groups going after anyone else on a regular basis. If this militia is guided or run by the government, it's unconstitutional.

Also from Wiki, "Strictly speaking, any real or hypothetical state organized along the principles of socialism may be called a socialist state. The term socialist republic is used by those socialists who wish to emphasize that they favour a republican form of government. Furthermore, since socialism purports to represent the interests of the working class, many socialists refer to a state organized according to their principles as a workers' state."

Redistribution of wealth- doesn't do any good for anyone but the workers.

BTW- I don't own a gun or cowboy boots.

Has anyone noticed that when someone criticizes a conservative or a Republican, they are said to be exercising 'freedom of speech', but when someone criticizes Obama's policies, that's called 'hate speech'?

The Obamacrats want to remove all opposition radio from the airwaves now. It's been in the works for a while, but the new 'czar' at the FCC is specifically tasked with that duty.

In a way, I'm glad it's all coming to a head now, because maybe, just maybe, we can throw the bums out and effect a rollback in government. But it will be a struggle of epic proportions.

42% of Americans are strongly opposed to Feuer Obama's policies. That's a good start.

I just hope you have an election in 2016 following Big O's second "democratically elected" term.

The only way "O" can get reelected is if the illegal alien population quadruples in the next 3 years and is given the privilage to vote. ;)

Ya think. Consider this opinion.

"Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public."
H. L. Mencken
US editor (1880 - 1956)

I think it may be more true today than ever.
