Oh no, not cables again, but...

Doesn't this say it all?

From the Audio Quest "Cable Theory" PDF, page 27:

"The only thing that needs to be learned is how not to be misled by the incredibly deceptive process of listening to equipment."

That's right - listening to equipment is incredibly deceptive! If you can't trust your ears, then you will have to trust AudioQuest instead! ;)

 No reason to beat around the bush: Audio Quest employees are liars.
But isn't cabling part of the equipment?

Regarding the "sound" of different cables: I tried an expensive interconnect from Kimber against a cheap one from Bluejeans. They both made the same "kerplunk" when dropped. That's proof enough for me...
You just voided your warranty. The manual clearly states that if the cables are dropped onto a floor, the electrons left over from the last time you played audio through them will be slammed against the dielectric, making them closer to the shield along that side. That shifts the channel balance to whatever side they were dropped on and we all know the best audio equipment has no way to control the sound in any way other than turning the power on and off and even those should never be used. Don't even look at them.

You call that proof, YOU CAN"T HANDLE THE PROOF!!!!!!!!!!

I would expect the more expensive cables would make a much more expensive-sounding "kerplunk", while the less 'spensive ones would make a thinner, less involving, less substantive "kerplunk".

Spend your money on something real...;)
