I discovered this afternoon that my water heater was leaking. Woo...hoo. I worked out in the yard after draining the water heater, and I'm sweating up a storm. I'm glad that it's eff-ing hot out here, because the shower that I'm about to take is going to be frosty.

That sucks. They're only good for about 5 years according to the guy who replaced ours. We rent ours from our gas company. $16/month.

I hope going through NYC isn't like crazy. I tried calling Rick thinking he might know. No answer. I got some more bills to pay, food to eat and sleep to get.

I bought my house nine years ago, and the water heater is the original one (so about two or three years older than that). Time to go shopping...online, of course.

I pretty much made up my mind hours ago that I'm going with Home Depot for the new water heater. I'll have to see how much installation costs, though.

My shower has virtually no pressure unless I turn on the water supply to the water heater. I wonder if the cold water supply isn't fully turned on to that shower. I'm a bit too lazy to take the control knob off to find out.
