The BFD has only 2 inputs and far less power. The DCX can do just about anything to your response curve. The BFD requires a lot more work to do the same things. Both work with REW, but for me dynamic EQ is the greatest alluring attribute of the DCX. This means I can change my eq with volume levels. So if I really want to crank it I can protect my drivers.
