Too bad that crappy looking 4 by 4 suv is not still in front, you certainly have the ability to move it now  crunch !

Great progress though on the serious side , I am very happy for you it will be spectacular no doubt, I want one too :), I think my wife really should get a second job.

Got some rain last night but it didn't seem to slow anything down. They were here at 7am doing rebar, plumbing and installing equipment.

They neighbor wasn't mad about his yard at all. He said he just thought it was awesome that we are getting a pool.

Wow, that's quite a tranformation! I probably missed it (and don't feel like rereading the thread) - when do they expect to completely done?

The pool builder says 4 weeks and then winks and says it will probably be ready in 3 weeks if everything goes right.

Excellent! With your powers of persuasion (and some nice after-work drinks for the crew), you'll be swimming by next weekend. :D

As will I :p

If you see some dude you've never met in your backyard be sure to post pics of the carnage that ensues so that everyone here can enjoy it. :p:)

You can come over all you want. Just remember the price of admission is good single malt scotch or Anejo tequila.

I have an ice-chest full of Gatorade and bottled water out there for them. At 5pm yesterday, I added beer and I am sure I will do that again today.

I am going to see if I can get them to sneak in a main line for my sprikler system while they have the ditches dug. It would be easier if I could speak Spanish.

Ejecutar una línea principal de riego y para mí es la cerveza y de una fase de baile de un mono en él para usted.

Something about some beer and a lap dance from a monkey if they run a sprinkler line. Give it a shot...

Look at those nice new boxes as if that is not enough to get a guy pumped up, my heart started to race a little.

I know, I asked if I could open the boxes and they said no.

I said "but I paid for them".

He said no again....

I sure hope theres no staples in the bottom of those boxes, if someone scratches the new tile someone else gets sprinkler lines ran as needed :D;)

Greg, are you planning on putting an enclosure around the main pump area? Just curious. The neighbor behind me runs her system all day, and it's loud.

Once again...frightening. :D

It would take a lot of alcohol before I'd consider anything but loathing for that woman. Well, alcohol or her saying, "hi." I'm desperate, alright? Back off. :p

My pumps are called "WhisperFlos". The description reads "The pump design that unleashed a new era in whisper-quiet operation".

So I really have no idea how loud they will be. Our houses are insulated pretty well and there will be a nice fence between the pump and the neighbors house.

All that being said; I will note that I didn't install it on my bedroom side of the house.:D

Seriously, if it bothers my neighbor, I will figure out an enclosure to keep it from doing so.

Alex saw the pool behind me in (I believe) the online satellite photos after he tracked down my address.
Every once in a while I hear an old Ford pick-up go by with Tom Jones blaring on the 8-Track player.
I wonder if he found my address too.
