well heres my living room setup, not the best by any means,i know i need some room treatments. any and all critisism welcome. by the way its 19x11 with 8'10" ceilings and opens into dining room then kitchen, and sunroom on other side.

yes she will. i'm trying to decide if i want mono or dipole for new surrounds when i get some. what suggestions do people have?and where to put dipoles if thats the choice?

Your center channel tweeter is dented in. If it is a replaceable type of diaphragm, you could take it off and pop it it back out.

i'm guessing that was the mutts fault also????? how would it pop out just unscrew tweeter and the top cover type thing will come off???? any sugesstions on surrond speakers,what kind and where??? and where should i put "sound boards" to stop reflections? it's kinda bright in there. thanks for all the kind remarks, hopefully it'll only get better.

I'm a fan of dipoles,and either way,yes,up high is good IMO too.

I said it in the other thread, but I'll repeat it here now that you've got your very own gallery - nice set-up! I like it. Cute pooch, too! I've been lucky that my pooch Niki hasn't gone "kujo" on my stuff, yet.

You would have to remove the tweeter, then look to see if it is the type that is easily replaced. It is usually held together with screws or clips of some sort. The tweeters face would come of then you could take off the diaphragm and replace it or pop back into place.

dipoles on the sides and mono poles on the back

But dipoles on the sides first. I'd say 2 to 3 feet above your sitting ear level which is around 36".

I believe in putting surrounds above kid reaching height. So I say 6 to 7 feet up.
