I want the 30" Oblique Series. Thet are 40% off right now which comes out to about 140 bucks each but they weigh 120lbs so shipping is costly. I am trying to find some in town but haven't yet.

I trust that you can get them to me.

Which ones did you get? If I like them, then I might just pick them up. My apologies in advance if they get lost during delivery.

It's here! The screen doesn't look broken (whew!). The gents are gone, so I'll assemble the stand and try to get someone to help me get the TV on it. That's one big-a** TV! I sure hope that it turns on...

I'm honestly too nervous to set it up. I'm afraid that it won't work, or that something in the box will be broken. There was a dent in the box when they brought it in.

If this one is broken, though, that's it. No more Amazon TVs. I'll just send it back and go to Best Buy. I figure they'll set it up for me, and if it's broken, then they'll just go get a new one.

Ok, it has been at least a half hour, you should have plugged it in by now...does it work? (fingers crossed)


And if it doesn't...best buy will set it up for you if you have to go that route.

I have the TV sitting on a mattress (on it's back) and am just about ready to put the stand on. I took the time to get the box outside and clean the tile hallway so that Niki would get access to the whole house again.

I'm starving, so I'm gonna put a pizza in the oven. I'll see if I can get the stand put on while it's baking.

The TV works! Woohoo! One of the movers got a small smudge on the glass (or it just came that way), but I'm confident that will wipe off. It came with a cloth, but I'll read if it's for the screen or just the bezel.

It's on the stand but still on the floor. I'll have to see if I can get it on the other stand by myself.

I don't think that it should be legal to call something the size of small college textbook a "Quick Start Guide."

Granted, there are only 67 pages per language...but shouldn't a quick start guide be something like two pages?

EDIT: My bad. While "Quick Start Guide" was the most obvious text to me on the front cover, it was referring to part of the manual. So, the guide is only ten pages. Cool.
