Getting the right equipment is only scratching the surface of it. Getting the most out of the equipment is the fun and rewarding journey.

At the very least, get one of these. The wooden floors have a tendancy to join the sub in trying to play the bass notes. It terribly muddies the bass response.

Auralex Gramma

what am I suppose to do with this piece? Put my speakers and sub on 1 of these?

Took agarwalro's advice on this one.

also what I wanted to do for some time now. Bought a whole bunch of cable from monoprice and did all the cable management. It looks 1000 times better with no messy cable.

Hello Yamaheart.

I commend your efforts with the cable management. It looks as if you put a lot of time into the project. It really looks good. One thing I discovered during my pursuit of perfect cable management was the challenge of complete separation of the power cords and the audio/video cables. Being that initially, the power centers were stacked beside the AVR (prior to the addition of the power amp), which made the separation literally impossible. It wasn't until I positioned the power centers on each audio rack on the bottom shelves, I was able to separate the power cords and cables.

I notice your use of the cable ties. I used those also but changed to velcro strips. The velcro allows easier negotiation when modifications are necessary.
So I do understand and appreciate your efforts. Great job!

Regards.

Thanks bro, took me about 5-6 hours just to do all that. Not even including clean up and OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder) the hell out. Take care man.

Lookin good. Super clean. I must say that vase on top of the sub makes me a "little" nervous. Does it move during play back?

My tweeters work fine(Knock on wood). I got these from my dad, he bought this as a whole Yamaha set back in 97'. I only use these for Karaoke nights.
