I hope you are joking about the buying one sub part.
That is the worst advice that I have ever heard ... EVER !!! :D

Nick,

You have the rest of your life to compromise. It just now occurred to me that your life is compromised. Do this one thing this one time just for you and be glad that you have this one shot. We all have different circumstances and you may find yourself in the position of being able to buy ten subs down the road but I strongly urge you to get two now while you can (just in case). I think my position is clear but I could go on if need be. ;)
I was kidding about any aspect of listening to me about my opinion on women.
Any one who does..... God help you. 'cause I really have no clue what I'm talking about.

Never critize her cooking, especially when just starting out.

An older guy at work said his favorite food is tapioca pudding. When his wife asked how is it, he said it needed more of one of the ingredients. He says he never had tapioca pudding for the 20 years they were married.

I always ate everything my wife made even if it was kinda bad. I let her make any comments about the food and then I would agree. She cooked great after the first year or two and she is really good now.

Also don't say anything negative because women remember a negative comment for eternity and often remind you of what you said wrong for years to come.

Congrats! Now, here are a couple of short lines you have to know:

"Yes Dear"
"I'm Sorry"

Stick with those and everything will be alright.

I don't have a problem with my gals cooking because I've eaten my own for years. The first time she ever made eggs they were better than mine. Just yesterday she says I prefer food that tastes good so I hate diets.

The PJ didn't go over well until she watched a movie on it. :) I'm so lucky my gal is smarter than me.

"Eddie, what have you done for me lately? I want HALF!"

One of the funniest Eddie Murphy skits of all time.
"Goonie Goo Goo!!"

Focus: Congrats Nick! My wife and I have been married 8 years as of June 8th.

Good luck, and enjoy the ride.

She can't cook and we are both well aware of it. She can make eggs and sandwiches(cold).

Yes, but do you know how much she really means for you to spend on them?;):D
That's not a lucky question.
We're not trying to get to the bottom of anything here.
He already knows everything he needs to know.
