Pio vsx1019, Onk sr607, Yam765 with Emotiva xpa-5?

I am trying to figure out the best of these three new receivers to use with the Emotiva XPA-5. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am trying to keep around $600.
#1) Onkyo TXSR607B
#2) Pioneer VSX-1019AHK
#3) Yamaha RXV-765BL

The plan is to use in a 5.1 system with my Mirage OM-9 towers. I need the power of the XPA-5 for the speakers. Trying to get the most appropriate sounding and feature full receiver to use as a pre-pro, head unit. I didn't include Denon beacause their new receivers aren't available yet. (at least I dont think so).

There are no preouts with the Onkyo TX-SR607B.
And there are no preouts as well with the Pioneer VSX-1019AH-K.

So, the only one left is the Yamaha RX-V765. But even then, I would not use it's preouts with the Emotiva XPA-5, bad choice in my book (the Yamaha).
The preouts are usually pretty poor in these Yamaha models.

You should realigned yourself, and think positively or ask for professional advice, which I already did give you mine.

Yikes, I just finished comparing the spec's right after I entered the thread, and you are right. The Yamaha was the only one with pre-outs. I didn't even think that they wouldn't all have pre-outs. GGGGGRRRRRRRR!

Thanks Bob. How do you know this stuff so quickly! :)

And you're a bad as*, a red chicklet! I'll give you a red giant locked jaw.
That should shook you all night long! A striking lightening jolt to really shock you for good!...

You're kidding right? I asked a question about where you got that info and instead of just providing a link you give me a red chicklet?

I was curious on where you read that from since I am in the market for a new receiver and was looking at the new yamaha's.

You really should change your name to Lordofthedouche. Oh I returned that chicklet you gave me, I think it belongs to you.

Let's put things clear here.

First: If I was you, I'll change my signature, it is not helping your cause, for sure.

Second: You did as a question, that you posted in a "particular way", and you waited over 24 hours to follow suit.

Three: You said your question is legit, is it now?

Four: Did you read any reviews here about Yamaha models similar to the one that I suggested?

Five: My original thought was that you like to play with words, now I got my confirmation.

Six: You seem to care about your own personal benefit, but you are doing just the opposite to discredit yourself.

* I don't want to be tough on you, I just give you my impressions. If you find them out of touch with reality, just be frank with me, and tell me what it is exactly you're after. I'm a very good guy, and I'm smart too, and very understandable, plus very forgiving, and I can make up to you very generously.
So, don't fret too much about this, and just be honest with me. If I see that you mean good, I'll make it up to you with full justice.

No hard feeling, just a little talk, so we can understand each other, that's all.
Don't jump too quick to conclusion just yet, as I don't myself.

I just want to get along with everyone here.

Regards,

Bob

Maybe some people find this to be a game, I don't. Each one of my post here is done with total respect and with the best of my abilities. I'm a very smart person, and if I want to know something, I promess you that I will find it, period. That's who I am, that's what I do for a living.

You remember the film "Taken", well I'm not quite radical as that, but my job is very similar (special skills to get to the source of information).

Yours truly,

Bob

None of your opinions matter to me honestly, I asked a simple question which you still have not answered. There are no reviews I could find of the _65 series of yamaha receivers on the audioholics site which is why i asked the question in the first place.

If there are, please direct me to them because I would like to read them. However my searches came up with no in depth mention of the preouts in these models.

I am sorry my honest question upset you so much Mr. Neeson.

All right Shock, after some members informed me of your good intentions, I want to apologise to you. I feel sorry that I might upset you, you surely don't deserve it.

I will fix the minus (red chicklet) by a plus (green chicklet), as soon that I am allow to do so, I promess.

Also as an extra good will from my part, I will personally try to get exactly the type of information you previously ask me. Just give me a bit of time to come up with the very best for your own personal pleasure. :)

And you can Thank two very good friends of yours, Bandphan and SheepStar.
They surely save your butt from a certain death. LOL. :D

Keep in touch & Regards,

Hi Mr. Neeson (Shock),

I am the one that feel sorry, as I "misunderestimated" you. You don't have any reason to feel sorry. It's all my fault. Forgive me please.

As for the second... matter, it's only your signature that got the best out of me. ;) I went straight for it. I am quite sensitive, as you can see now.

LOL. Can you just change your sig for a better one... :D

Sincerely,

Bob

P.S. Are you truly looking for a job at AudioHolics?
Because, as a simple mentor, I'm not so sure if the pay is good.

LOL. That sounds pretty good. We'll be able to chew some mint flavor gum together. ;)

And take your time, and find the most funny sig that you can come up with,
like "I give you that green chicklet..." :D

Why not just wait for the UMC-1 which is due this summer? You can also check out Marantz and HK.

To Shock. From prior question.

Ok Shock, as I said to you before, I'll get some links about preouts.
I know that they are not quite directly related to the Yammy RX-V765 model, but they might give you an idea of what I was referring to. And that will also apply to lower models, below the 765. It's not an absolute guarantee, but it's a simple smart deduction.

Of course, the best will be to have the lab test on this particular model, but I believe that the tests would be close to the links I give you here. Also notice that these models are a few notches above the 765.

1. The Yamaha RX-V2700 review: page 5 "Measurements & Analysis".
Preamplifier Performance -> [From the preouts, the FFT distortion is very high pass 1.25Vrms.]

* http://www.audioholics.com/reviews/receivers/yamaha-rx-v2700-receiver-review/rx-v2700-measurements-and-analysis

2. The Yamaha RX-V4600 review: page 5 "Power measurements and Analysis".
Preamplifier Tests: FFT Distortion Analysis -> [At 2Vrms, the the preamp section of the RX-V4600 faltered. The FFT distortion becomes very high once output exceeds 1.5Vrms.]

* http://www.audioholics.com/reviews/receivers/yamaha-rx-v4600/rx-v4600-power-measurements-and-analysis

--> And also the Yamaha RX-V2400 & RX-V2500 were not able to achieve 2Vrms unclipped!

If I find more info, I will certainly let you know.

Regards,

Bob
