Can you try that again? You might know what you're trying to say, but it doesn't carry through to what you wrote.

Looks to me like the whole effen RCA jack is broken off. Time to send it to Mr. Fixit.

P.S. For future reference, whenever putting on or taking off RCA jacks, you should gently twist them instead of simply pushing them on and yanking them off.

Dunno, but it's gonna cost you. Check the manufacturer's site for local repair facilities.

How handy are you with electronics? If you are moderately handy, take a look at how that jack is connected - you might be able to replace the broken jack with one like this from Parts Express (also available from Radio Shack).

The type of jack on your reciever has a metal cover type thing with little barbed pins that hold it onto the jack. It will probbaly still work if you can get the rca plug to stay on because the center conductor is still intact and rca jacks commonly share a ground so if theres more than one cable going to your amplifier etc then it will have already created the ground path. You could also just rip off the metal cover from another jack thats not being used and use it in place there. this is easy to do, just get tight fitting rca cords and plug it into the jack you want to pull off, then give it a side to side or up and down motion while you pull it off.

Are you handy at all with soldering and electronics? If not, check your yellow pages for electronics repairing, or an electronics store that can do it or recommend someone?

Could you clarify that a little? Are you talking about on the subwoofer itself or on your reciever?

If, your receiver, this RCA that is broken is the LFE out, don't really want to use the red or white analog out as that is the left and right channel and may not have the lows that the LFE has. Best to try to replace that female RCA plug.
