From another forum, a user review :

"Blu E-Cigarrete"

Inside I was sent two chargers, two batteries, one cigarette, and a special battery pack. You can actually charge the battery pack (its the cigarette looking case on the right) and use it to charge the batteries as you go. So technically its pretty much a mobile charging station. Each charge of the pack will charge the cigarette batteries up to six times before you need to recharge the pack. Btw, each cigarette battery charge will last you about two cartridges (about a pack and a half of normal cigarettes).

The sweet thing about the battery pack is that it acts like a case for everything. You can store 5 cartridges, an extra cigarette, as well as charge your extra battery.

Part of the starter kit consists of a carton of cartridges ($25 value) . Each carton contains 25, which is about equal to 350 cigarettes. A carton of cigarettes around here is 45-50$ (200 total cigarettes for the non-smokers), so its a pretty good deal even if you only get 300~ cigarettes from use.
I bought the Classic Full Flavor cartridges. They also have a bunch of other flavors such as Java, Menthol, etc. You can also buy different strengths. They have Full Flavor, Light, Ultra Light, and even a non-nicotine version.

Smoking.
After letting it charge for an hour, i took out a cartridge and plugged everything together to make a complete cigarette. Its very simple.

After getting everything assembled, i took a hit. As you inhale, the tip glows blue as if it were an actual cigarette (minus the blue of course). When you exhale it looks like actual smoke, but in reality its an odorless vapor. I took about five hits and I could not smell anything. The cartridges last a good while. You can get about 140 or so hits off of it (about 10-15 cigarettes depending on the user.) They taste smoother than cigarettes and fulfill the nicotine cravings just as well as traditional cigarettes.

Is it worth the 59$?

Yes. I can honestly say that this is the coolest thing I've used in a while. Not only do you set yourself up to save a ton of cash, but you can smoke ANYWHERE. If these two reasons are not enough, then I really don't know what else you could ask for.

Everyone already knows smoking is cool, and is good for you.

So why use a fake one? That's like using a rubber.

Smoking goes all to well with Harp. However the albuterol and Advair get really old and expensive:( Cig tax is going up another buck, making it on average $6.25 per pack, money and health spent better somewhere else:mad:
Chantix sucks btw

I don't think so. ;):D But then I don't know how it is smoking and stopping.
This may lull you back into the real stuff. Why even do it even if it is free?
I saw this at a sidewalk vendor but not sure what to make of it. Any real review of this out there?

Hi Mike, I don't have first hand experience with the product.

You've mentioned being smoke free for years; so why bother with this?
I'm wondering the ramifications of your son seeing you use the product.
Would hate to see him copy dad, and possibly smoke the real thing...

Well, its still vaporizing nicotine ... which is a stimulant. If your not addicted to nicotine, I don't see any reason to start.

Are you just looking for something relaxing to do? Are you looking to try smoking cigarettes?

What drew you to be interested in this product?

well, ever since the beginning, i smoked only after meals.
it was very enjoyable to smoke then, i kinda miss it ... but since the wife made me stop smoking for health reasons - this thing doesn't really have much health risks.

(except the nicotine addiction, which is really moot in my case since i'd "smoke" a fixed number everyday - or maybe even only after good heavy meals)

Or, as Alex likes to call that, Saturday night. :p
Saturday night ... Thursday morning ... I didn't know I was on a schedule. :D

There's nothing moot about this. Nicotine is a DRUG and it is Highly addictive !!!

You're playing with fire here. You say you weren't addicted but you still want it?
What a junkie. Even if you weren't addicted before, this is a fine way to get addicted now.
Once you do cross the line into addiction, it's not so easy to quit and quitting is no fun.
So ... don't you have something better to do with your time?
With all due respect, what the f^%& are you thinking here? :(

As far as the product is concerned, it's simply another way of pushing an addictive drug.
Smoke it, snort it, inject it, drink it, eat it ... whatever ... just take it,
get hooked and pay and pay and pay and ...

I have no idea what the trick is to getting free and clear of crap like that but
I've had to do my fair share of getting free and clear of crap like that.
Trust me when I tell you that this is a bad idea.
Nicotine unlike alcohol is not something that most of the user's don't have an addiction to.
If you think nicotine is harmless in and of itself ... I would look into that a little more thoroughly.

Best wishes,
Alex

Mike, I actually tried one of those things recently, after my friend was raving about it. His mom was using it to help her quit. He actually just "lit" it up right at the bar in a restaurant.

I tried it, outside, and I don't like it, nor trust it. The nicotine rush is waaay more potent that even a cigarette, IMO.

I think the main thing to find out is just how much nicotine is being delivered per puff compared to a cigarette. If you asked me, it's a LOT stronger than a cigarette. Sure, they'll tell you they won't have the 5,894,694 other chemicals, but take that FWIW.

hmmm,

1) of course the kid won't see me do this
2) is this not the same as a nicotine patch?
3) yeah, i was looking into the potency - since smoke doesn't carry as much nicotine as the leaves do.
4) jostenmeat, does it 'taste' real?
5) aside from addiction, what are the medical/physical damage does nicotine do?

[i appreciate ALL the opinions guys, keep them coming]

addicting? i can stop anytime [/me squashes the cigarette butt]
[/me lights another one up]

my brother will have one by the weekend ... it's not the brand above, but he's the guinea pig. i might try it once though and see ...

(don't worry, i'm pretty objective ... i've tried pot twice ... one in a DIY foil pipe and one in stick form - i didn't like it)

Yes, but it is the Nicotine that is addictive and not good for the hart. then they have you hooked to spend, spend and spend some more.

Here you go from Wiki:D

Perhaps further Google search on it to a medical site?
