Thanks for the input. You're right, it is up to me. But, I thought when the members posted photos of their setups/rooms in this thread, it's mainly to garner opinions and suggestions. Not necessarily to impress, but to hopefully gain some knowledge, or maybe, get a different perspective about their system?

I do like the statues. After several months of searching, the wife came across them at a flea market. Go figure! I'm still trying to decide if they compliment the room in their current position or should they be moved to a less prominent location, like on the ledge (far right and left) behind the system or maybe to the back of the room on the bookshelves?!

You might want to see how those statues look on top of your component racks. So, just move them from the speaker to the rack next to the speaker. That will elevate them (and make them more prominent), but it will move them off the speakers and into a more central portion of one's view.

I'm still trying to decide which position offers the best look for the statues.
I'm sort of leaning towards Adam's suggestion. It's growing on me slowly, I think

Statues on top of the audio racks

In the first photo, the statues seem to have a more subtle appearance.
In the second photo, they do look more prominent!
What I do not want is for them to compete with the flat panel.
Any other opinions are welcomed!

I will try to accommodate your request over the weekend.
But I've gotta tell ya, I'm jonesin' for the Sunfire Cinema Grand Signature.
I have nice bonus coming in July. That's when I plan a major revamping of the system. As of right now, it's limping along and sounding decent. The old age is starting to reveal itself. There's really nothing else I can do to improve the performance other than replacing everything with better and more efficient technology.

Limping along???? Really???. It's hardly limping there IMO ld! Why a Sunfire Cinema Grand out of curiosity? Seems like a nice set-up over all to me. Unless you sit very close, your 720p set should be more than adequeate.

Croseiv, you're right. I sit approximately 9 1/2 feet away from the screen and the picture quality is decent. But a friend of mine has a 50" 1080P Pioneer Elite Kuro with 120 hertz capability along with a HDMI capable AVR and and a 24fps capable bluray and calibrated! I've gotta tell ya, the picture quality is phenomenal! It really makes my setup look dated.

So vanity is surely playing a role in my desire to upgrade.
The Sunfire really appeals to me. The fact that it produces 405 watts x 5 is just nuts to me. Not to mention that it runs cool and it's compact. I'm really considering replacing the RF35's with the RF63's or the Vienna Acoustics Mozart Grands.
If I go with the Vienna's, the Sunfire is a lock! The Vienna's are not the most efficient speakers when compared to the Klipsch. If I opt for the Klipsch's, then I may continue using the Marantz or opt for an Emotiva.

It's really confusing because everytime I see a setup like yours or Bigred's, clean and efficient, my system looks almost archaic. Just too much going on. Maybe, it's just time for me to grow up. Whether I want to admit it or not, with so many digital devices, redundancy is unavoidable. So a system makeover is in my future.

Those racks look awesome. Where did you get them. Are they a one piece unit, or could one just get one or two. They would work perfect with what I have.

Thanks for the kind words about the racks. To answer your question, yes, the racks are a standalone design. I purchased them from the now defunct Circuit City.
They are actually a knock off of the Bell'O design. The manufacturer is Z-Line.
You can find them anywhere on the net. As far as I know, there is a 4 shelf audio rack and the 5 shelf model that you see in my setup. I hope this helps.

A new Sony BDP-S550 bluray player has been acquired! It will replace the Samsung BD-P1200. Unfortunately, I will not be able to integrate it into the system immediately. I've had to work this whole weekend not to mention family visiting from out of town. So my ability to hop right to it is somewhat difficult. Photos will be posted of the unvailing and installation later this week.

Cool, you've got every disc spinner you could possibly need! That old Panasonic DVD Audio player was really well built. I wish I could have gotten my hands on one of those.
