I want to see the dash cam video from LEO before putting nails in any coffins.
They are not going to release that, I have looked already. The cops were wrong and the DA has the tapes now I am sure......I am interesed to see what transpires with this.

They are required by law to make this available to the public. FOIA at it's best if the DA balks...

But I do know that when dealing with cops, it's best to just keep your mouth shut. The cop is the one with the badge and the gun, and right or wrong, he generally has the law on his side. Keep your mouth shut, go to court and fight the cop there. At least then you have some chance of winning. If a cop is looking at you, it's probably not because he wants to help you with something. He's probably thinking if there's anything he can write you a ticket for. So I try to avoid the police at all costs.
I’ve watched enough episodes of COPS to know this is true. Let them get a handle on the situation and then tell your side. If you’ve done nothing wrong, then you should be OK. I think a lot of times they come on strong because they know how easily and readily people will lie to them, and they want to shake them down. Tell what you know, tell the truth, and it will all work out in the end.

As been mentioned several times, we don't have all the facts. From what I can tell, the cop should have made the inquiry at the hospital at all costs. Of course, the exception being the ambulance driver was driving erratically and in an unsafe manner. If that were the case, then that may have put the patient in even more danger. I must say, however, that cop probably would write his own mother a speeding ticket.:rolleyes::rolleyes: Really looking forward to seeing how all of this gets resolved.

Cheers,

Phil

I've watched enough to learn that most people are stupid.

Amen brother. Can you imagine the prison population if they made it a crime to be stupid? Not just making mistakes from time to time like we all do, but repeatedly showing no signs of intelligence nor common sense. They would have to buy Australia, re-locate the current inhabitants*, remove any planes & boats, and start dropping off the stupid people.

*Except of course the stupid ones.

I wouldn't base everything off cops, it's pretty one sided and bias. Not that I personally have anything against LEO's but anything that gets it's most airtime on FOX and Spike, well, I wouldn't base any opinions on that.
