Need some remote help

I am going on tour very soon and need a new universal remote to take with me.Why you ask. Well I spend alot of time in hotel rooms. What a UR does is it lets me hack into the tv's system and watch whatever movies I want. I have been told for years to get one of these for hotel tv bypassing but now I have decided to go get one.Almost all my touring buddies have one.Too funny if you ask me but what the heck..anyway I would like some advice on a "road worthy" UR. I would love to hear from anyone with the knowlage of well made remotes that can travel in a backpack......

How does a UR allow one to 'hack into the TV's system'?

The remotes in the hotel are programmed to only do certain channels. With the UR remote you can go to any channel you want to. Most hotels have movie systems that are assigned to channels and if you can't get them with the hotel remote a URC comes in handy. I had a cheap BB one for the last few tours but need something a little more durable.It works like a charm for accessing the movie content in hotels..

5-10 years ago but I am old now darn it........
