Well, I put in an order for a XPA-5 and an ERM 6.2 to be used as a center channel speaker (should be a nice upgrade over the CSi30). I'm pretty pumped about the amp. Just hate having to wait on it to be delivered....:D
I'm going to run the XPA-5 in 3ch mode for now so that'll be like 250 wpc. Should be nice.

Hello Croseiv.

It seems as though you are "the man" here at the Member's Gallery secton.:D
Congrats on the purchase of the Emotiva XPA-5. I'm sure running it in 3 channel should make a huge difference in performance. Your Polks will certainly become more dynamic in sound, especially in low end response. Two channel playback should be outstanding.

Keep us posted!

Regards.

If you say so...Although I can think of many systems here that far outclass mine. I think I get more excited about stuff than many...:) I think a few may get annoyed with me...;)

Absolute perfection IMO I really dont have everything as it should be but the EMO and pio work very well together,I'm still tweaking my kappas with the dcx to get it all where it should be but when I listen to the Mains with just the EMO and the PIO it is clean , crisp , and really tight with power to spare when I just use the PIO no amp it seems muddled and somewhat dull now so the EMO is always on.
edit.I really need to be careful with the kappas,EP 2500,EMO,I just might have to touch up some joint compound here and there My HT has never been better and soon to come new speaks ,heck I have never even had surrounds ,rears and such just the fronts and my new kappas.

Awesome! That's really great news. Now I'm really pumped...I could tell the 1015 was straining in my set up, hence the desire for more power, and of course just the desire for more power...:) and the smell of new electronics.

I'm glad I noticed you had the 1015 also. I had asked around over at AVSforum, but got no responses. This is very re-assuring. I was wondering if the two would be a good match, and it sounds like they are. That XPA-5 is a real beast IMO.

Congrats Croseiv!

I have an XPA-5 and a RPA-2 sitting here in my office waiting to be unleashed. (Along with a pair of ML Summits.) If only Mitzu would hurry up and release their new line of 73" Diamonds I could get all this stuff together and set up.

I'm using a B&K AVR 307 now but will probably switch to the UMC-1 when it becomes available....whenever that may be.:D

Packages have arrived and the goods are un-boxed! Everything looks to be in perfect condition so far. Initial impression is very good. The amp is quite good looking, as well as the ERM-6.2. Pics to follow shortly...:D
