Am I allowed to ban people?

I'm actually working on compiling info on cases... and digging up what reviews I can. I think I'd like to see these three stickies:

1) Cases
2) Current Graphic Card options
3) Motherboard/CPU configurations

All of course geared to HTPC. I think these sections alone will hopfully limit the "what graphic card should I get" question being asked 50,000 times.

I was thinking about adding a couple subforums called: "How the Obama Administration will Affect Your HTPC" and "Why Conservative HTPC's are Better than Liberal HTPC's" but thought the wiser and shelved the idea.

I think those topics would be hilarious.

I think sound cards would make another good sticky.

This will be a lot of work. Since the stuff changes so much.

well, first off, you can now create those threads and sticky them in the HTPC section.

i doubt you can make subforums though, that's for the admins.

yes, mods can ban each other. no, you can't ban Clint or the other admins even if you wanted to.

i think you can move/delete/lock/merge threads in the HTPC section.

The other mods had to go through an intensive 6 month training program but the economic disaster left by the Bush administration has led to mod fast tracking by the current administration.

That is exactly what happened! I guess it's Clint's way of saying... "You want a new section... fine... but put your money wear your mouth is."

I didn't realize I'd actually have to work! It reminds of something my dad used to say... "Be careful what you wish for, it may just come true."
