.......to honor it's new Obama administration owners.
This is the perfect!!

I give Obama a lot of credit!! His government takeover/bailout plan worked flawlessly. ...and it only cost several billion taxpayer bailout dollars!! Of course, the fact that the bailout failed to keep Chrysler out of bankruptcy is of no consequence. The ultimate objective was always government ownership anyway...... so for that I congratulate Obama for a stunning victory.

Way to go big "O"!!

It's only a matter of time until GM joins the bankruptcy club.......

From what I've read, the UAW is going to be the majority shareholder in Chrysler. The gov't will only have a small stake. I find it quite ironic that the UAW that's been so instrumental in dragging the company down all these years is now the owner. Who are they going to extort in their next contract....THEMSELVES?!??!?!?!? I wonder if they'll find that all the wages and benefits they've been demanding and protecting all these years are too expensive to pay now that they're the majority shareholders. I wonder if Ghettofinger will become CEO as well as union president and negotiate with himself!!!:D:D:D

On a side note, my wife's employer is primarily a Chrysler supplier and she will be laid off until Chrysler emerges from Ch 11 and resumes production...if it resumes production.

On a related note, I read in the paper that the Treasury Dep't is going to administer the Union's majority share of Chrysler. In effect, "The Administration" owns Chrysler by proxy.

Someday I hope I can totally destroy a company with bad policies (UAW) and then end up owning the company I helped destroy. Sounds like good business to me.
