Need some advice on what could be a life changing decision.

I've suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me. The usual signs. Phone rings, I answer, someone hangs up. She started going out 'with the girls' a lot recently although when I ask which girls it is always "Just some friends from work, you don't know them". I always look out for her taxi coming home but she always walks down the drive although I can hear a car setting off. As if she has got out of the car round the corner. Why? Is it not a taxi? I once picked her cell phone up just to see what time it was and she went beserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her.

Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my wife. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth but last night she went out again and I decided to check on her. I decided I was going to hide inside my car which would give me a view of the whole street so I could see which car she gets out of. It was while as I sat in the rear seat of my car that I noticed that the front grill of my car stereo left rear Kenwood speaker was lose. As I was trying to put it back on, I noticed that the paper cone of the speaker is cracked.

Do you think this is repairable? Should I try to repair it myself? If it is not repairable, do they sell only one speaker or they always sell it in pairs?

What model speaker is it?

In most cases, unless it's really high end, I'd assume you would have to buy a pair.

Set'em up. Knock'em down. Nice post.

I would just get a new pair of speakers. They are generally not too expensive for a decent set. Definitely cheaper than a divorce.

Unless she's getting the car in the divorce....let her fix the damn speaker.;)

I really hate to say it but I would tell her to pound salt, then I would by the most *****in system ever cause she won't get a dime if you get a good lawyer. It is a life changing desicion but look at the bright side, new gear new girl life goes on. I firmly believe in "What don't kill you makes you stronger" we all go thru hard times but if there is cheatin goin on its time for a new way of life IMO of course. I hope this helps..

That's funny and sad and about a million other things. I hope you are just kidding, those grills can be a nightmare...

Perhaps she's dating a custom installer...so as to get you a great deal on a kick-a** car system.

BTW - very sad start with a hilarious ending. I hope that it was just a joke, though. I'd almost cry if I thought that you really had paper cones.

I'm not sure which way to go with this but a lone speaker might pop up on eBay if you're patient. If it's really an affair ask her to see if she wants you both bangin' her, like at the same time ... in the same room at the same time ... whatever it takes to keep her happy.

I think it's time to upgrade your entire system. You can even hide it by parking around the corner and sneaking into the home. When she goes toward you car get defensive and turnabouts fairplay.

Tarub, that's terrible. I've faced the same exact situation twice in my life, when you just don't know what to do even though the truth is staring you right in the face.

It took a lot of thinking, and eventually I realized I had to do what was best for my own well-being, even if those around me wouldn't understand and it could wind up costing me a lot of the financial security I had built up over the years.

I know letting go of a long term love can be difficult, but sometimes there's just no coming back when it just doesn't work any more, but in the end I'm sure you'll come to the same realization that I did some years ago...

"Damn, these new speakers sound a lot better than those broken pieces of sh*t."

:)
