Love the additions Isiberian and agree with every single one of em.
Her's one that just boggles my mind. A women will drive all over town to save 1.00 on something she wants, not realizing she is spending 4.00 in gas to save the dollar. My mother will drive around a crowded mall for 1/2 an hour looking for that one closer parking spot closest to the entrance, when she could've just parked further away and saved 25 minutes. I recall a time a year back, when I was watching TV with my GF and they showed the planet Earth and with all seriousness, she aks me, "Is that Earth?' yes the look of "WTF? was very apperant and no she's not "special" but at times I wonder.

LOL that's hilarious. My Woman is smarter than me so I don't have to worry about that.

Hey, I need some advice. :)

My sister has had problems with work, so, my dad and I have been helping her with money. She has a new job now, but, it doesn't pay enough for her to live the way she is used to.
My only advise would be "Be careful". I had a friend who helped out his sister by cosigning a loan. Needless to say she ran off with the car and didn't pay any bills. My friend didn't find out what was going on until collectors came-a-callin'.

His credit was wrecked. As luck would have it his car was stolen after that, insurance really only paid the original off, then he couldn't get another car to get to work.

Things spiraled out of control and 7 years later he's still not back to the standard of living he had before ....

In summary don't let someone that's drowning pull you under also.

*******************************************************

I'm not sure about cutting the person off cold turkey but I'd be all for laying out some harsh ground rules like forcing the person to live within their means and things of that nature. If things don't start improving then you it may be best to cut the person off esp. if their character isn't that great anyway.....

Thanks for your advice.

I for sure won't sign any leases or anything. That's a horrible story!

She is gunna need a car soon though, because the lease on her car is up soon. We'll see how that goes.

I wouldve said, "Hey sis, you know I had money for you when I was helping dad move yesterday, but since you never showed up, I figured you didn't need it, so I gave it to a couple guys who were willing to help me move dad's stuff. Maybe next time." :D

Guilt, it's a beautiful thing.
