I don't eat pizza often but when I do it's always Pappa Murphy's! The prices are great and their pizza is some of the best in town. At first I was reluctant to try it but my GF kept badgering me.:p IME pizza comes out a lot better in a restaurant because they have the correct type of oven, but Pappa Murphy's gets around this by selling their pies on a special pan that really helps crisp up the crust.

Two thumbs way up, haven't had any other brand in over a year!

The woman says I am the most impressionable person on the planet when it comes to food.

She's absolutely correct. Now I want to drive 500 miles for a Poppa Murphy's. I hate you all. :)

Traffic..as a former So. Cal,er (O.C.+ Riverside) is something I definitely DO NOT miss, but had you lived in Phoenix AZ like rest of my family your pizza would already by baked by the time you got to you car..lol:D
Hey, I could be wrong but my guess it gets quite hot there.;) It gets quite hot and muggy here in Western KY. :D:D

I usually bake a Papa Murphys pizza once a week and they are very good. I'd have to say my favorite pizza from them is the chicken garlic. Damnit now I want one!
Glad to hear you have tried it. I have not tried the chicken, but it sure sounds good. ;);) I might just give it a try real soon too.:D:eek:

Cheers,

Phil

My sentiment exactly. Coupons for that particular one is hard to come by where I live, but it's worth it even without one. I'll be getting one tomorrow for sure as I can't take this pizza talk anymore.:p:D
Sowwy ^^^^^^^^^! My bad! :D:D

Awesome-nice post! I think I am becoming sort of a converter myself. :D:D The pizza is really good. All for a reasonable price to boot! ;);)

Any others here heard or have tried a Poppa Murphy's pizza? If so, what is your take on them? Feel free to post away. ;):);)

Cheers,

Phil
I/we like them;):D Great thin crust, chicken and something new. Convenient and doesn't take long to bake it. Yes, they are huge and they have larger ones too but that won't fit the oven:D

...actually Domino's pizza used to be a lot better in the early 80's, heck it was named the official pizza of the "White House" back then, ...
Enjoy:)
It either doesn't take much to be on that list or it was really good:D
I wonder if it is still on that list;)

We got a Pappa Murphy's here a couple years ago and have tried some of their pizzas. In my experience it's been hit or miss, maybe I need to give them another try.

Matt, sorry to hear about the hit or miss. I guess it all depends on the management and staff. There are actually (4) locations in my immediate area. I have tried one of them one time. So far so good. Might as well give them another try. Sure hope it is a hit next time. ;);)

I personally love Papa Murphy's pizza, but my wife doesn't like it. I went through phases where I got one of their pies every friday.

The Mrs says they're too greasy. sheesh....she's clueless, IMO. I tell her that's flavor!! When I get them, my son eats with me, but my daughter doesn't because her mom doesn't:confused:

A little late to the party, but we have enjoyed this pizza several times... The only downside to it is the final outcome is dependent on your oven; which in my case sucks! We have discovered several local pizza places though that are really good, but also pretty cheap.

This thread made me do it.

I made the 20 minute trek to Papa Murphys this evening for a gourmet chicken garlic. It was so worth it! :)

Dang, that looks good! That's real dedication to take the time to take a picture.

I'm glad that I just ate four slices of Papa Johns, or I'd be craving that right now.
