She sure looks perty in that setup. Not too sure about the humidors though, they don't go with the oak tables they are on:eek:

Glad you like it so much. :D:D
Thanks and it does look better in person as far as the humidors go when you see the whole room at once it blends well with sub imo anyway lol But Im just experimenting wright now to see what looks best .

I'm curious how much room gain you are getting by pointing that Ultra right into the corner?? Have you tried any different orientation?
No I havent felt the need to, it really sounds great were its at . Its very pleasing to say the least . If it was a lighter sub or it wasnt giving me the results I was hoping for I'd try different locations. But im really really happy with its performance were its at :D oh and actually were its pointing is towards the main seating positions and behind that is a open hallway probably about 30 feet or so and the ceilings are 10 ft I beleive until you get to the end of the hall and its cathedral ceilings . For the size room this ultra hits hard

Yeah man I see that yours is facing the room. I was actually asking browninggold about room gain. In the pic he posted he has his facing the corner;) I'm pretty sure anything from SVS would kick *** in my little apartment:(:D

Highbar- I originally had it facing out and basically the same setup as TheFactor. Sub by RF Tower. I just recently moved to the corner and facing the corner, and all I can say what a diffrence. The rolloff and extension of the sub is much better in the corner. The scenes with LFE is more pronounced, without rattling anything-so far happier w/sub in the corner of my room than where I had it positioned earlier. I just use Audyssey MultEq for setup. I have a SPL meter also but have not used that lately, happy w/Audyssey setup.

What do you guys think of those Auralex Gramma pads ? My ultra sinks pretty deep into my carpet and was thinking about picking one up . Plus they look cool :D

The Gramma is great for hardwoods, not sure it will help you a lot with carpet.

I bought a pair for my F113's on carpet and it was a no go. The F113's have poor weight distribution (*** heavy due to amp and magnet) so the grammas compress more in the back and had the F113's angled slightly up. Why you want them ... are you looking to limit the shaking?

BTW, congrats on the new sub.

Ughh its to late just bought one, but guess I could save it if I ever go to hardwood floors . Hey what do you think of the Behringer eq and whats a good model ?

Thanks im sure enjoying it :) I think sunday tranformers is my next movie im going to watch , ive seen it but not since my Ultra . Well I like the shaking actually, the sub stays pretty smooth when you put your hand on it but holy sh.. my couch vibrates and your whole body lol like I said early I thought my couch was going to levitate . But again I Like it but the subs is sinking into the carpet level with the grill but its on magnets so I could slide it up a touch.

Man, I loved Transformers. There is some awesome bass in that movie, often at unexpected moments, IMO.

I also think that Mr. and Mrs. Smith is a good one. The scene when Brad Pitt is driving through the desert in the dune buggy is great. When I got my Ultra, I watched that movie, and it was the first time that I can remember feeling bass in a movie at home. Awesome. That buggy hit the ground and it just sent a pulse through me. I was grinning for several minutes after that. :D

Ya Transformers is one of my favorite movies, dont know why but its like one of those apple pie and chevrolet movies lol . Just saw the new fast and the furious at the movies today it was pretty good and saw the previews of the new transformer coming out and it looks great and appears to have that nice thunderous bass we all love :D Havent seen the Mr & Mrs Smith one yet . So Adam what do you think of the humidors on the end tables, does it match or no  Pass or play ?

Thanks for the heads up on the new FatF movie. I'll be watching that once it comes out on DVD. Mr. and Mrs. Smith is a great movie, IMO. I recommend it.

As for the humidors...ummm, I not really a fashion expert. I think that the humidors look great. Very nice color and finish. I can't say if they go with the tables or not. I will say that it wouldn't be my choice of color combination, but I'd suggest asking one of the other folks here.

Hey TF: I've got my PB13 on a great gramma and I have thick carpet in my room. I believe the gramma helps with reducing vibrations on the walls, pictures etc. Don't get me wrong, I've lived in So Cal all my life and WOTW really rocks my house like a real earthquake does...:D
