Going to place it elsewhere in the room for more even overall room response. I hate hot spots and null spots. I tend to move around the room when listening to music and want a fairly even level of sound. I've got Mirage bipolar speakers which have a very large sweet spot compared to most other speakers - I love them for this reason.

I've actually already tested the single vs. dual arrangement with twin Outlaw Audio EX subs and found where those seemed to work best, so I've got a good starting point for these new Ultras (one of which is already placed). The two Outlaws are for sale now (can't keep them - that was the deal).

With dual ultras you shouldn't need anything else, unless of course you are Mike C.

Nope - duals is it! I've got the two for sale Outlaw Audio EX's in the room too and could easily hook them back up and see what that would be like, but I won't. The duals (just hooked up the second over lunch) is impressive. I played some deep organ music (found here http://www.sendspace.com/file/vj8z5t ) and was very impressed!

One port plugged in 15Hz mode. That's actually the only mode I've tried. I may try the sealed mode at some point, but so far if FEELS good.

Ok, so the delivery guy called prior to 8am and said he was en route. It arrived and he helped put it inside my front door. Now it sits, waiting on me to come home and unpack it. This is my second unit, but I'm still excited to see what it looks and sounds like!?!?

Sweet and that was cool of him to help move it in.

Oh ya, gloss black, cloth grill (matches mains better), second Ultra in a 2400cuft room that's very open to the rest of the house's great room (at least 15,000cuft). I've got some good pipe organ music ready to go and a few good DVDs (yes, DVD, not blueray).

Nice I cant wait to get mine, my heart is pumping wright now just thinking about it lol
