Hugging is ok just limit it to that:D:D:D

Good choice on the finish, I'm sure you'll love it.
LOL Thanks and yes hugs is as far as it goes and maybe just a few kisses  I do have standards and have to draw the line somewere :D
You'll love it. I was going to say something about not having the cajones to order rosenut when I voted that you got black but there was always the outside chance you actually chose rosewood, so I didn't say it. Now I see that you are a man that can stand up and make bold choices.

Now that all the drama and suspense in over, I think I need a Gatorade and a nap.:p
:D Thanks Dave I knew you'd never let me live it down if I didnt LOL and I was wright :p I also knew when you voted for tb that you were holding back on you what you really wanted to say :) Oh and throw mr a Gatorade to will ya .

Ok, now don't take it too far. You don't want to have too much "accent" furniture, then it just becomes another color in the scheme.

I hear ya lol , actualy I think i'll just get a textured black one :D Seriously I havent been able to find any anyway except for un-fininished . I could stain it to my liking but think i'll keep it simple and just pick up a couple of black racks , I dont have many movies anyway only around 80 or 90 with 30 in blu-ray .

Should I move the location of my Ultra when it gets here ?

Hey guys i've been doing some thinking about were i'd like to start out putting my sub when it gets here . Since its not going to be the easiest thing to move around I'd like to get it wright the first time . I know experimenting with its location is the best way but like I said that wont be the easiest thing to do because of its size and weight so because my HT room is rectangular in shape , if your facing my TV your in the far corner of the room and the to the right it leads to dining /kitchen area . So im thinking for better base responce I might prosper to move my sub towards the corner of the room . So instead of the sub being on the right side of the tv I could switch my audio rack and sub around so the sub would be closer to the corner . Im thinking that will give me better bass responce. Heres pic so you guys can tell what I mean . Let me knowwhat you guys think.

Heres a pic looking towards The HT area and behind me it goes back another 25 ft or so thats why I was thinkng of moving the sub all the way to the corner . Im sure his Ultra will give a lot of head room but I'd like to get it wright the first time . Disregard my Bose cubes and 301's for my rears those are long gone

Ok one more pic, if you can look around the back of my old sub you can get a idea of the distance to right of my HT area . Were the table ends it goes back another 10 feet or so it hard to tell from the pic.

I would be tempted to leave the sub right where it is. By placing it in the corner, you may get more SPL but you are more likely to excite room modes that mess with your FR. With the Ultra, you don't need the extra dB boost from corner placement.

My sub has been everywhere and in the end, it sounded best (and flattest response) between my Left speaker and display. It was at it's worst in the back near a corner.

How much are you looking to spend on that DVD case? Ever since you asked, everything that I've found seems to be in Britain. This one is the nicest that I've seen so far, but it's not cheap at $360.

Wow thanks Adam that one is absolutely beautiful and looks like a great match . Thanks so much for checking them out for me:) Actualy yesterday I ended up getting just a Birch finish one I couldnt pass up the deal and then I ended up picking up a coffee table and some end tables but I kept the same color theme going, there solid pine and loved the wood grain and I guess if I wanted I could always sand them down and refinish them with a rosenut stain. I like how the coffee table has a place to hide my many remotes lol . Well you guys wanted me to have contrast with more flavor and thats what I have now  :p. I almost wonder about the oak finish now it would of been a perfect match with colors i've got going now . But Just couldnt stop thinking about the rosenut on the sub, to me it was very rich and the wood grain was nice. Well im going to have alot of contrast going on now but regardless its all wood grain now to :) I really like that dvd storage rack you found though and I saved the link because it might be in the near future for sure . I looked everywere and couldnt locate one, great find and thanks again, Ed
