History

The earliest writing had no capitalization, no spaces and no punctuation marks. This worked as long as the subject matter was restricted to a limited range of topics (for example, writing was initially used for recording business transactions). Expanding the use of writing to more abstract concepts required some way to disambiguate meanings. Until the 18th century, punctuation was principally an aid to reading aloud; after that time its development was as a mechanism for ensuring that the text made sense when read silently.:D;)

Hi, speakman. Outside of budget, what are your other needs/desires for the sub? The SB12-Plus is a nice sub, but its cost is driven a lot by its small size. If small is what you want, then it's a good pick. However, if size isn't a big concern, then a larger sub from SVS that costs the same or less would be able to outperform it.

I've had a lot of success when I've e-mailed SVS and asked them questions about their products. I'd suggest that you let them know what size room you have and what your desires are, and then ask them which of their products that they'd recommend.

I don't know about what's available in your area, but the PB12-NSD and PC12-NSD are cheaper than the SB12-Plus in the U.S.

I think Adam was refering to the SVS PB12 nsd but I could be wrong and if I am im sure Adam will correct me :p wont you Adam :) anyway I had the pb12nsd and its a very musical sub, also great for movies and for 599 "us dollars" I think you'd be very happy imo and its hard to beat without going to a "DIY" making your own sub .
