WTB: DTV converter or coupon

I'm apparently not eligible for a coupon or something. If anyone has a spare one laying around, or a decent converter box they're not actually using, please let me know. I'm turning my cable off in under 2 weeks and need a box for the bedroom.

You can use the coupons online at Amazon. That way, you can PM the number (including the three digit security code on the back) instead of mailing it.

No problem. I just found that out this past weekend. I jumped right on that because Best Buy is out of the one that I want. I just got mine delivered today. It does a nice job with the stations that I get - but the issue where I live is that we don't get many stations, yet, because the main towers are on the other side of the mountains. By not many, I mean that I get PBS and CW Tucson. Woo...hoo.

I guess I'm lucky.

I just got my Samsung HDTV OTA box for my plasma. Hooked it up to a $9 antenna and got like 20 channels, including CW, NBC, ABC, Fox, and CBS in HD along with several other digitals.

People who live in Tucson (in the main valley) can get quite a few stations, including all of the major networks. The stations just haven't added digital capability to their repeater towers on my side of town. That's one reason that I was so glad that they didn't have to shut off the analog feeds last month.
