cool keep us posted. what finish are you planning on using for the wood?
at first i was thinking stainless steel ... but i'm guessing that would be too shiny and expensive.

now, i'm thinking automotive paint - "hot rod red"? :D

but the finish will have to wait ... i have too many unexpected financial things going on right now :(

Hey Mike, just catching up on this.... Looks like the Passive I sent you wasn't glued properly... thats not cool at all... did you get that sorted out...

I would have found that problem myself if I had used them in a build...

I'm sorry, I never saw that... they never left the box except for pictures... :(

How is it coming... ?

"Looks like the First Ironman suit" Good one... :)

yeah, no fault of yours. you couldn't have known. i'm thinking i got them all by now (ill try test tones when i get the chance, because it would seem that the active driver is doing all the work). the other guy who bought the other PR i think has the same thing going on.

Sweet buddy..... Looking good....

I told you that Passive would be way more then enough for the 13av.2....
Its hardly even moving eh.... Those are meant to be used 1 to 1 for 18" LMS-5400 for 20hz tune... The LMS has much more excursion and its also far more surface area...

I'm glad you got it all sorted out partner !!!! Thats so awesome...

How is the sound.... tight, clean? Give us a mini review on the SQ...

i bought some fish with the money. (i spent more on the fish btw)

Fish only go down to 72hz. That is nowhere near good enough for you Mike...:D

Some can go as low as 63hz, but I don't think Mike is equipped to handle whale sharks.:D

RTFM.
It clearly states it goes down to 63hz +/-2dB. Most comprable fish are rated using +/-3dB. That fish is actually usable down to 58hz.
But the manual is a bit fuzzy about the surroundings with the test. I assume they are testing in saltwater but they could be using fresh water for a brief second to skew their results.

I hope no one around you could hear you play those.

I'm not gonna lie, that first video has some pretty terrible bass. It makes my ears sad.
