The old garage door opener has been removed. Woohoo!!!

After a short break, it'll be time to try to get the new one up.

Back in 1988, she was a rather stunning gymnast from East Germany that I saw during the summer olympics. I don't know what she's up to these days.
I see, I will be quite far from that, as I'm going to Kyiv, and my days are already fully booked, but if I see her, I will give her your phone # and say hi from you :D

I've been hearing that a lot lately.

I just had to explain to my g/f that there was a guy in Norway that I have managed to piss off and even he wants me to start smoking. She is not surprised and also thinks you should give me a red chicklet.

I'm going out today and plan to be rude to the general public. Eff them. They should have stayed effing home.

EDIT: Oh yeah, congrats on the field marshal thing.:)
Oh, you didn't piss me off today, he he..... for those who really piss me off....... they may possibly only do it once, coz then it's WW3

And nothing wrong with being flaming and outspoken......

Seriously - why can't garage door opener manufacturers use the same bolt spacing on their mounting hardware? I took down the hardware for the old opener, but now I need to drill at least one hole because the new hardware (which is very similar) has different spacing. Frustrating because it seems to be unnecessary.

Apparently, my IQ is in that range. After following the instructions to install the new mounting bracket, I flip the page to see that I could have used the old bracket with some spacers (that were included with the opener)! Argggg. Seems like they should put that note on the previous page that is the installation step for the new bracket! Then again, I could have read ahead (I did skim the whole manual, but I didn't read each page step by step).

I was talking about the IQ of the Garage door manufacturers !!!!!!!!!
And they probably wouldn't even be able to write an instruction on how to make coffee.....

Looking at the work you have done in the last months I would think your IQ is within a very safe range :D

Oh, I know. I was saying that I'm the stupid one, here. Had I read that next page, then I probably wouldn't have installed the new bracket.

To be fair, the instructions are really straight forward and easy to follow. I just think that a note regarding using previously installed hardware should be before the instructions on installing the new hardware. :)
