Need Reasonable Center Channel that is no more than 3 inches high and 6 inches deep.

Phantom center happens when you do not have a center speaker, but in a multi configuration, such as 5.1. When you tell the receiver that center is not connected, this channel becomes downmixed to your mains.

This term is not used with TVs, which gives you only 2.0 mix.
