i need help with picking the right speakers

hi i'm new i used to have a hitb that just broke down ( Panasonic SC-HT900 DVD Home Theater System) never a big fan of it . I also have samsung 40inch 1080p 60hz, xbox. I really don't want to buy another hitb. so after doing some research i decided to get onkyo 706 over 606. now im looking for a nice speaker system for about 400 and a sub. i tired doing some research about that but my head is already spinning so i turn to you guys for some help and suggestions

I heard the EMP HTP-351 5.1 speaker set with an Onkyo 606 using Audyssey setup and it sounded very impressive for the retail price and a true bargain on sale at $489. They will fill a large room with quality sound. The subwoofer sounded particulary good and it is on the small side of the size scale. You can search this forum and the AVS forum using "EMP" and find a little more information.
