That sounds like a great idea. Talking my g/f into it would be a piece of cake ... shopping in New York during a weekend get away ... boffing in a hotel room ...

I would of course be bringing fake beer but at least it's really good fake beer. Here's a neat little review:

They have an 'Amber' version now too. Actually it really is beer just without alcohol. It has passed a few taste tests by regular beer drinkers that I know but let's face it, most people drink beer for the buzz. Adam, Jamie, Andrew, Greg, Craig and just about the entire planet.

It's true though. I really love beer. When I'm driving home from Boston in the summer and I'm parched I will sometimes not drink water or coffee just so that I can crack one of those puppies open when I get home and enjoy that ice cold 'surprisingly beer-like' flavor.

More than a few especially toward bed time still gives me a hang over.
I really feel gypped by that. It took a few months of totally abstaining before I finally had an NA (non-alcoholic). Then it took a few more months before I found those.

This is actually making me want about a 30 pack. I could make it out to Jersey in about 4 hours and put a few more away with Rickster71 and MarkW.

I had the lovely chance to sample Sierra Nevada's Bigfoot barely wine (9.6%) tonight. It is a perfect example of an American barley wine: hoppy with a very nice, sweet, malt finish. Great beer. Since I felt like celebrating I followed up with some of my home made Apfelwein (9%). I am feeling gooooood .

Ohh and party at my place. Recently the lovely lady and I had to cancel our wedding plans due to the economy getting all shitty on us. We just finalized the new plans and I get to be brewmaster of the afterparty. So I got the lovely present of a kegging kit. Wooo! Kegs on tap at my place always .

Yuengling Lager is my readily available choice followed by Stella Artois Belgium beer those two make me very hpapy hpypa hppya HAPPY.

Ok I have 2 new favorites Franzkanner and Hoeggarten.Both wheat ales the Hoeggarten is white beer and the Franz is golden unfiltered......lovin these new beers....well new to me anyway.... I have been drinking Lambics quite a bit lately too....

Hi Jamie, I've had Franziskaner, I agree it's very good, a great summer time beer.
They make two weiss beers, and it sounds like you've had the lighter one.
If you see it, try the darker one. That's very good too.

Is the hoegartten the one served with a slice of orange,if so I also tried that and thought it to be very tasty almost like a dessert if you will,but hey maybe all beer can be like a dessert.

I pretty much stopped drinking the Yuengling and have been going with the Stella Artois its just that much better IMO.
