At the Audioholics event last October, I bid on, and won the XPA-2.
I never win anything, so that was great news!
The downside was, it arrived damaged. Looks like the carrier dropped it on it's front corner.
I spoke with Lonnie, and he advised to send it back, and he would put in a claim with the carrier.
It took a while for the carrier to process the claim.
I called Emotive and spoke with Cathy Laufman, she informed me that the carrier dismissed the claim.
That really sucked...I mean, that was most unfortunate; Emotive was doing a nice thing by donating the amp. The monies from the AH auction went to charity.
So, even though the carrier didn't pay for the damaged amp.
Cathy Laufman emailed me the tracking number within a few hours of our conversation, and sent me a new XPA-2, that arrived within two days of me contacting her.
That, is customer service. Thanks Lonnie, Thanks Cathy!
