Oh, I forgot your across the pond. In America we call things like Christmas and Thanksgiving "Holidays" ... and other trips or time off "vacation." You guys call any vacation a "holiday." Right?

Yeah, it was Thanksgiving on Thursday, that's why the forums are dead. Lots of people travel to see family, and generally we take the end of the week off. Wednesday night is the biggest drinking night of the year in America (thus, avoid roads). Friday/today is the biggest shopping day of the year in America, people racing to buy crap at like 4am in malls. Big discounts, but I'd rather pay more not to deal with the crazed people personally.

The VAF's look interesting, but expensive and the reviews look a bit sketchy. Have you heard them?

Cell Phone Recharger area

I often wonder if I need to put the little plastic thing that covers the recharging part of the cell phone back on the phone each time (not always easy), or is it okay to expose the outlet to the elements?
