Need a little itsy bitsy help with Denon 1909

Set it up last nite....Did audyssey.....my issue is
Assigned hdmi1 to cable, hdmi2 to dvd, hdmi3 to ps3......I have to use the select source dial on the receiver to get it to the ps3....nothing on the remote will select it.....what are the "quick select" on the top of the remote for.
Dynamic volume, do I just hit the button on the remote for it to work. I did that, and nothing happened....(that the display shows anyway).
Did Iron Man 7:30 this morning to hear, and wow...what a difference from my yamaha 5150....

What input did you assign the PS3 too? Page 42 or your manual shows how they are setting up 3 HDMI connections. If you use say the VCR input assigned to HDMI 3 then you would choose that for your PS3.

ps3 got assigned to hdmi3 or VCR

If this is setup correctly then all you need to do is push the VCR button on the remote and it should switch to the PS3 on HDMI3.

What I thought....I'll play with it tonite...and figure it out.....what a very nice receiver...
