Welcome to the forum!

I don't know the answer, but I wanted to bump this so that maybe someone who can answer it sees your question.

I have seen the same question around here before, so I'd suggest doing a search on this forum while you're waiting for a better answer here.

I'm not familiar with either your receiver or Blu Ray player but I can make an educated guess. Your receiver should adapt to whatever it is getting over HDMI so it's probably not a receiver setting. I would look through the audio menu on your Blu Ray player and make sure it is bitstreaming all Dolby and DTS codecs. Maybe the manual can help with this.

You may also need to specifically choose those audio tracks when you play a disc by going into the audio setup for the disc.

Jim, I believe in fact you are familiar with his player. I think its the same as yours, but with a different model number for Costco.

tritondelmar, make sure to actually select TrueHD or DTSMA from the disc's menu as well. Some blurays default to the lossless codec, and some don't.

Some don't have any lossless codec at all, because I don't think "uncompressed PCM" is technically considered a codec.

Ok, try setting it to "bitstream" to see the logo. IIRC, I think your player can only bitstream DTS-MA anyways, and if I'm right about that, you want to bitstream then in any case.

Should be in the audio menu, which is probably very easy to access. Please report. :)
