Thanks to Clint for letting me post this :).

After about 2-3 weeks of work on my 'top secret' project. I am finally ready to show it off.

Since I am bad at writing such things here it the blurb I wrote for elsewhere:

Opening its 'doors' is AV Sound Lab. Dedicated to improving quantifiable parameters of sound reproduction, AV Sound Lab will focus primarily on dispelling myths in audio, being a credible source of education for all and providing quality measurements of loudspeaker, drivers and subwoofers both commercial and DIY.

In addition to these articles and measurements, AV Sound Lab will be a place where various DIY builds and designs will be documented.

Stay tuned for more articles, designs and builds as well as, in the upcoming months, the first round of subwoofer measurements!
Let me know what you think about the site. I plan on trying to keep writing a consistent flow of articles, builds and measurements etc. put up, but school gets in the way occasionally!

Currently, the next planned article will be comparing two turntables and the audibility differences between them, if any. One is a 2k near perfect piece of engineering in every aspect and the other, well its a superb, low cost, 1970s-1980s turntable. Ideally, testing will be done with the original 1980's tone arm and the much higher quality replacement I am trying to get. More to come :).

Uh-huh, now tell me a western ... :)

I like the recommended reading section in your site Andrew. I was looking for something fresh to be perplexed by. And you don't have random posters littering the place up ... :D

Just in case anybody missed it, the AV Sound Lab link is in Andrew's quote and signature. There are so many ads underlined it's easy to miss. :)

Very cool, Andrew! I was waiting for this to go public. It's great that you are putting up information for others.

Just a thought (which I never got around to PMing you...sorry ), but I think that it's got some merit in the open forum: The more someone tells me that I can trust them, the less likely I am to do it. You mention "credible" around your site a bit, and I think that's up to the readers to decide. Under "Links", you state how credible sources are - but belief in that will depend on if someone thinks that you are credible. Trust is something that needs to be gained. You have earned it here, but probably not on the internet in general.

I hope that didn't come across wrong. It's not meant as an insult.

Again, I think that it is very cool that you've put that site together. I'm looking forward to watching it grow and progress.

I am hoping the testing can begin soon. I certainly have a nice pool for the first run ;).

Thanks for the input, I adjusted some things :).

Thanks. There has been some serious work put into this, just hoping it will payoff and help educate some people! I have no interest in making money on this site so there isn't really a way for it to payoff otherwise.

Man, you are FAST! Looks great.

It'll be cool when people start linking to your page with descriptions like, "a very credible source of ...."

Your dream is growing...many congrats, Andrew. It looks great. I hope it doesn't take TOO much of your time.

But now who is going to do the cooking and cleaning around your place? :D

Ohh it takes plenty, but I can't stop myself. Besides, its better, and more fun (I think) than watching TV!

But now who is going to do the cooking and cleaning around your place? :D
That why no one has vacuumed the past two weeks . Those are my jobs! Guess I should get them done...bring me back to reality, bummer man ;) :p.
