I thoroughly enjoyed this movie! I had my doubts based on the trailers, and I only got it because I didn't have anything else of interest in my Netflix queue. I'm really glad that I rented it. I thought that it had a number of very funny moments, had a good story, and also had some touching moments (now it's your turn to try and keep quiet, Alex :D).

I recommend it. I think that it's great for either a single person or a couple. Probably not for younger kids, as it's PG-13...but of course that's your call, not mine. :)

Thanks Adam I will give this one a look soon. It sounds like it may be better than I thought it would be. Nothing like a good laugh. ;);)

I saw the trailer for this one WAY back when Hot Fuzz was in the theaters...I've wanted to see it ever since :)

I watched this today on satellite.....i laughed pretty hard at this movie. One of my favorite moments was when he was in the store and he had chaffed his "scrotal" area and was using the mannequins hand to scratch himself.:D:D
This movie was good.

I really like Simon Pegg as an actor. I really liked his movie Shaun of the Dead.

Peace,
Tommy

One of my favorite scenes was in the locker room.

"Powder?"

"I'm fine."

"Sure? Refreshing."

"I...would...imagine it is."

:D

Sorry to say it wasn't for me. It did have funny parts. I just thought there was too much 'movie formula' in it. Some plausibility issues also threw me off.

Sorry to see that, Alex. I hope that it wasn't too much of a waste, as you got it based on my recommendation.

The movie wasn't a complete waste. Adam, if it makes you feel any better, it's not you. It's me. :D

Watched this one last night and completely enjoyed it. It was a bit predictable (as most comedies are these days), but it still managed to be entertaining and light. I would call it a rental not a buy for sure though.

I rented it off PSN. I was actually surprised at the audio quality, and the video quality though only SD, was decent as well.
