Picture Posting questions

Though I had posted a photobucket link to my Home Theater picture gallery when I first completed my Home Theater, I want to put up new pictures that show everything in it's fully completed stage now. Problem is, I had originally wanted to simply post those 1st set of pictures in a large format under a short message posting and my usual signature.(which lists my gear) But the only way I could figure out how to post those original pictures, was by using a photobucket link. The reason why I wanted to do it the other way(big pictures directly underneath my post) was because I had seen it done that way many times, here on Audioholics.com. I thought it looked great that way, and it was much better than giving a link for members to go to, so they could see your set up, rather than just having those nice big pics appear directly underneath your post. Can anyone tell me how to do it that way?

Joe, certainly. There are at least two ways to add images to your posts.

1. When you are creating your post, there are a series of icons above where you type the text for the post. If you mouse over the icons, a description will pop up. One of those icons is a square with a yellow background that looks like a couple of mountains - it's on the bottom row of the icons, just to the right of the center. The description (when you mouse over it) reads, "Insert Image". If you click that icon, a box will pop up asking for the web address of the image. Put the address in that box, hit okay, and a stream of text will be entered into your post at the location that you had the cursor before clicking the icon. You can always just try it out and experiment. Also, if you quote someone's post that had pictures in it, you'll see the text that gets created.
2. For Photobucket (and this had been over a year for me, so I might get the details messed up), I thought that there was a box on the Photobucket page that gave the text code to just display the image. That might be wrong. I use the first way above, but I don't use Photobucket. Hopefully someone that does can clarify/correct this part.

Good memory. I use photobucket. On a photobucket pictuer go to "IMG code" bottom on of any picture and copy the link and paste in your Audioholic response:
