Behringer EP2500 How to use - for a novice

The fan connects to the PCB with what looks like standard connectors; the same kind used in PCs to connect fans to the board. Surely it can't be much trouble to cut a connector off of an old PC fan and use it on the replacement fan instead of chopping off the factory fan connector.

I believe that they spliced the wires off of the factory fan lead. What happens if you have to do a warranty return?

When done properly, A tech wouldnt even be able to tell. Someone is getting a deal on the EP2500 I returned that already had the fan mod done too it ;)

Bummer about your wrist, Eagles! Sorry to see that. I hope that you heal up quickly. How many weeks did the doctor estimate it to take?

Thank you.
The ortho said 4-8 weeks.
I am a pretty quick healer though, or at least I was when I was young, lol.

Found a killer deal on my pair of QSC amps locally a week or so after I got the behringer. So instead of selling it, I just decided to return it and get all my money back :D

Musicians Friend, They have a 45 day return policy IIRC so that worked out good. I had to eat the shipping both ways, But at least I got the full refund back.

O.k. ... got it all ready to go except for the dip switches.
I can't seem to figure out which ones to move.
Running one channel to a dual 8ohm Tempest-X??
*Also, how do I wire it from amp to binding post '&' how do I wire it from post inside to sub?

First off if you are running the amp mono blocked you only need to mess with the two top sets of switches.

Wow!
Thanks!

One question though...am I actually running the one channel bridged or just normal mode on one channel?
That picture make sme think I'd be using the whole amps total power, which is way too much for the single Tempest-X....but I very well could be misunderstanding. :)

Bridged means a doubling (roughly) of the power. You could drive the tempest with just one channel, or keep it bridged and set your amp gain nob at the middle mark and keep it there.

Well, since I will be getting a second one not far down the road I'd like to just run one channel so that I wont have to disconnect it then.
So how should I set it up differently from your pics?(which are great by the way)
And wiring how to the sub from the binding post on the back panel?

Just look at the diagram on the back of the amp. Move 6/7 dips back to the left. On channels one and two keep the cut off turned off.

On the binding post the top two to the right channel and bottom two to the left. But since this is a single sub right now it doesn't matter.
