B&W 685 vs Revel Concerta M12 vs Monitor Audio RS 1

I am planning to buy a complete Hometheater System. I am focusing on the Audio to begin with. I plan to use a Denon AVR-2809CI as receiver. I'd use the system 65% for listening to music and 35% for movies (all at loud volumes).

I would appreciate advise regarding speakers. I consider my best choices, considering my budget and room size, to be:

A. B&W 685
B. Revel Concerta M12
C. Monitor Audio RS1

I am planning a 5.1 channel setup, using the center speaker offered be each of these manufacturers and as rear speakers I am planning to repeat a pair of any of the front speakers I end up choosing (I am considering using the 4 speakers in stereo mode for listening to music).

Which speakers would you experts consider best?

I have heard the RS1 and liked them, although they seemed to me a bit metallic in the highs and prefer a warmer sound. Other than that I thought they were terrific and quite loud. Also I can get a sweet deal on them if I move quickly (but perhaps the B&W's or the Revels are a far better choice and should pass on the deal and listen to these two first. Thoughts? Should I pass and wait?).

I am in Mexico, so not all brands of speakers are easily available (these three are).

Also I would appreciate a recomendation regarding the subwoofer. I am being offered a Velodyne VRP 1200 at a very good price (from the same store), but I am open to any suggestions.

Thanks,

JACOKA

Since music is 65%. Does your dealer have the B&W CM series? I suggest you audition them.

Thanks Mazer,

Based on your advise an option I may have to remain in my budget is to place the CMs as front speakers and use the 686 as rear speakers. In any event I will audition the CMs.
