The unofficial AH t-shirt?

I gotta say that I find this pretty cool! I also think that I've now reached my a/v geek quota for the week.

(Be sure to check out the video about midway down the page.)

I'm sorry...but there's no way I'd ever wear something like that! You'd definitely have to wear glasses with tape between the lenses and snort nasal spray when the shirt was worn!

On the flipside, you need to wear this buckle with it.

This shirt would rule.

This one would work with an AVR and HDMI cable...

Just thinkin' out loud.

Ya know, I think that's freakin' cool. I just might get one of those for my daughter who does sound and lighting installations for concert venues.

I got that shirt and gave it away at a white elephant party. IIRC, it takes about 95dB (point blank) to make the shirt activate (even at its lowest setting). Basically if you're not in a nightclub you can't use it. When I demoed it at the white elephant party I almost made everyone deaf just to get it to work.

Cool concept though!

Wow, thinkgeek also has a Pong shirt! Sweet.

Clearly, someone also needs to make an illuminated geek meter shirt. Mine would be about as bright as the sun right now.

Really? An actual Pong unit? :)

That SOTU event is going to be something else. It would be nice to be there. I'd say that I'll go one of these years, but I'm still building up the energy today to drive three blocks to the grocery store...so I'm not the most motivated person when it comes to travel.

[I think the two hours of commuting to work each weekday uses up all of my travel patience.]

You may want to rethink that b/c I am likely not throwing another SOTU event for a few years. It's a lot of work and effort to get people registered and we could all use a break for a while on these.
