At some point, I will have B&W 800's, 801's, or 802's along with a full compliment of Mcintosh amps in a room that's more of a media room as opposed to a single purpose theater.
I will acquire this stuff not because it's the best money can buy, not because I saw it in a magazine or someone told me to get it. I'll get it because when I think about the stuff I want most, the stuff that just reeks coolness to me, that make my heart go pitter-patter, it's that.
You can argue the performance, you can argue that "this" sounds better than "that" but it's all nonesense in the grand scheme of things. We buy what makes us happy. I doubt few of us have ever bought something we really didn't like just because we thought it was better than something we did. Who does that?
