Had a blast (LOL!!!). Shot off alot of fireworks last night. It was a lot of fun. There were no flooding issues at all near their locale. Most of that was north and west of them.

I am so glad you had a blast croseiv. It is also good to hear the flooding did not ruin your plans. Thanks for sharing my friend.

Actually my girlfriend's 3 sisters, nieces and nephews (and I) rented a beach house for a week. The weather cooperated for a pretty nice cook out. I was the grill man.

Went over to my friend's house on the night of the 4th. He was making some burgers and hotdogs and they had bought some small fireworks. The cool part was that his neighbors had a TON of really big fireworks. We figured they must know somebody who runs a fireworks shop or won a few numbers on the lottery or something. They were lighting them off for more than an hour, we didn't feel like we missed anything by not going to the city's fireworks display

Honestly it was kinda surprising that the cops didn't come by.

Yeah, I thought the same about my neighbors. Seemed like they shot off fireworks all night long. Did not see one cop which was very surprising to say the least.

We always do up the 4th in style. Every year we get together at my friends house, who has a very nice house on a bit of land and an awesome backyard equipped with a pool, outdoor kitchen and dual Margarita machine. He rents 2 or 3 of those giant water slides for the kids and at 5pm, we kick the kids out of the pool for our "no-rules water volleyball tournament. This year we purchased ~5k of fireworks and the 40 minutes show was better than the one put on by the city. If you think that a bunch of drunks lighting that volume of explosives sounds dangerous, you are correct. This year nobody got hurt, cant say the same for last year...

Yep, my buddy goes all out on everything he does. He will never accept money to help offset the cost of all the parties he has (about 4/yr)

He also has an awesome HT room but has cheap JBL speakers and a $140 sub to go along with his 120'' screen and HD PJ. He always says at some point he would like me to help him upgrade but we never really seem to get around to it. We will see what he says when I show him my dual Kappa subs!
