The help on Windows Media Player 10 does show info on converting files. I can't figure out the specifics, but WMP11 might be able to do it.

I'm with you, brother. It's not straightforward in WMP, as far as I can tell. I'm at work, though, so I can't devote too much time to looking through that.Man, I cant figure it out.

As for iTunes, I can help you with that - but it would be later tonight after I get home because I don't have it on my computer at work. I'm sure that someone else here can help you out if you need it sooner.

Dude, just use iTunes to do your bidding then throw it aside!I try not to use Itunes as I had a run in with them in the past where I lost all my music and they basically told me tough crap. I use WAV files on my external HD and play through my HT system or just stream wireLess to my PS3. Now I am trying to go backwards just so I can use the FC in my car, what a messd up world.
Dude, just use iTunes to do your bidding then throw it aside! No need to use it as your main program.
Say your prayers, sucker, because I just fooled you into downloading something that will take over your computer. You've been Apple-fied!Ok, I downloaded it and it is automatically copying my songs over to ITunes. What do I need to do now?

Just kidding (of course). I won't be able to go through the steps with you in detail until I get home (probably in about four hours). I think that you need to change the file type for ripping in the options (maybe called preferences) to what you want (MP3, right?). Then, you can select the songs in the library list, probably right click, and then see a choice for converting them.
Let me know if you get it. I'm more than happy to go step by step once I get home.
