(extreme high bandwidth HDMI over wireless, maybe the world will be using USB sticks for everythingi.e. no more blu-ray or DVD?) Who knows.

Interesting, maybe Microsoft is thinking of something along those lines. If they could cut cost by not including a blu-ray player and invest that into better hardware (GPU, CPU, massive hdd etc) I would be all for that. Not sure how it would work though.
